Spokane To Sandpoint Race

What is the Spokane To Sandpoint Race you ask? Well, it's basically a running race that takes over 24 hours, from Spokane to Sandpoint, about 40-50 miles. It's not just one person though, its made up of 12. And yes, I am included in those 12. Also, my sister, parents, and a bunch of their friends. The writer of the blog, "Who Let The Wheat Out?" is actually doing it with us. She is a close friend of myself and my parents. For more information about this race, visit this website SpokanetoSandpoint.com. You don't have to fully register till about August 5th at the latest. Of course the price rises as you wait so don't hesitate! Maybe I'll see you there!

The Lake!

I can't wait for summer! I'm sure all of you reading this can't either. My favorite part is either sleeping in on a Monday, or going to the lake. Actually, the lake probably wins. Every summer we go up to my Nana & Poppy's lake cabin on Lake Pend Oreille in Sandpoint for two weeks. My whole family enjoys staying up here, along with all my cousins who come swim and party every day. All my mom's side of the family, from all over the country, come up and it's a blast!
Part of the reason I love it so much is because I can just chill with my family. I don' have any sports, school, orthodontics appointments, etc. It's just waking up whenever, swimming, fishing, tubing, kneeboarding, wake boarding, surfing, hiking, shopping, bike riding, and eating. The way life should be.
